SAY YES TO PEACE GROUP

Hi, This is brian, I am the moderator of the Say Yes To Peace group and
the webmaster for www.InfinitePossibility.org

The say Yes To Peace campaign has emerged from a desire to be able to
find a way forward that is simple and all inclusive.

I believe that our culture is shaped by our conversation and the most
effective way to change the culture is to change the conversation.

Not to manipulate it it into any particular form,
but to free it up so that it can evolve optimally.

Our destiny awaits us like the oak tree sleeping inside the acorn -
water, nutrients and light are all that is necessary for that destiny to be fulfilled.

The form of activism being applied here is Social Acupuncture -

"there is nothing wrong with our world, we are just having a weird conversation - Reclaim the conversation"
When the conversation reaches critical mass, it transforms intoaction.

I see this campaign sweeping the planet with more momentum than a
virus - contagous because the desire for peace is within every human heart.

Even the US military have signs on their bases "Peace Is Our Business"

Currently a number of us are working on the Chalk4Peace project

There will be a whole bunch of pics up on the site soon from the big demo4peace at Trafalger sq in London
on the 27th where there was somewhere between 15,000 to 100,000
(depending who you listen to) people demonstrating 4 peace.

The Chalking4Peace project took off like a rocket - the whole square
was psychadelic by the end, hundreds of people got involved - I heard
that a giant spiral all around the square was chalked after we left.

There was "Say Yes To Peace" confetti handed out in handfuls and the
scattered every where tiling the ground with the message - we even
managed to catch the wind and get a whole cloud of them up on the
main stage.

Mostly what was coming from the main stage was WAR TALK - Anti this
and Anti that - WAR TALK in the name of peace - this is where I see
that the peace movement is fatally flawed -

The power in what happened on Saturday, from my perspective, is that
the individuals who came to the demo alone became participants - it
was amazing the artwork the statements the poetry - i walked around
afterwards looking at it all and cried.

It was amazing how much impact a few of us had on the whole demo - I
got just a glimpse of what is possible in a situation like that
